Experience

I don't have much tutor experience except for times when I have helped kids study for biology or any kind of science tests. My ACT score was a 20. I want to be mainly a science tutor becase I love science and I'm good at it. I know that there are some kids out there that aren't so good with science and I want to help them see how easy it can be! I think it would be fun to help kids learn how to study for tests and how to really understand the subjects. I have taken many relevant classes. I took Biology 1&2 in high school, recieved As in both classes, Generaly biology-B, Plant and Fungal Biology-B, Range Management-A, Meat Science-A, Livestock Production 1&2-A, Ecology-B, Plant Breeding & Cytogenetics-A,Soils-A, and Plant Science courses all through college in which I scored As in all of them. I went to Mountian View High School and graduated top ten in my class with a 3.47 GPA. I was a member of the honor guard my Junior year of high school. I went to Casper College in Wyoming for 2 years and graduated with an Associates in Range Management with a 3.0 GPA. I am a member of the livestock judging team here at West Texas A&M University. I am also an Agricultural Ambassador for the Agriculture Department on campus. We go around the Texas Panhandle showing and teaching leadership skills. The process to become an Ag Ambassador is a tough one. You first have to be nominated by a faculty member to be considered for an interview. You go through two more interviews which are a faculty interview and then a peer interview. I am also a leader for the women in my church ward. It's called the Relief Society President. What I do is mainly just watch over the girls in the ward and make sure that their needs are being met. I teach lessons on Sundays as well as plan activities and meetings for them. My current GPA is 3.0. I have also been a member of the FFA. I was the chapter FFA president my senior year of high school and the FFA chapter secretary my junior year of high school. I also played basketball, volleyball, and ran track and I have letters in each sport.

Hobbies

I love to play sports! Basketball, volleyball, and I even run on occasion. I have also been dancing since I was four years old, clogging and jazz. Throughout my years in high school I was also a dance teacher. I grew up on a ranch in southwest Wyoming so I love agriculture and everything about it. I did FFA in high school and I am now a member of the Farm and Ranch Club here at West Texas A&M University. I love spending time with friends and family as well.
